The Big Picture – 'A Hard Day's Night'

I’m very much a Beatles novice. I know the classics, the photos and some of the band’s effect on popular culture, yet I still haven’t fully grasped the reason for their place in history. Audiences experienced a full breadth of styles and expressions, from Mozart to Messiaen, Bach to Bartok, Liszt to Ligeti, and indulged in a program presented by the finest soloists and ensembles from both Australia and abroad.

As the 2016 Perth International Arts Festival comes to an end, a feeling of sadness looms over me. I still remember getting the phone call saying that I have been selected as the Young Creative for Visual Arts, a few months ago and I didn’t expect time to go by so fast!
