Situated in the heart of the city of Perth, St George's is the principal cathedral of the Anglican Province of Western Australia and the metropolitical Diocese of Perth.

Access Information

Level access from outside paving into the Cathedral.

There is no audio loop available for the performance at St George's Cathedral.

Seating consists of removable seating; wheelchair spaces are available for this performance on the ends of the aisle.

A universal access toilet is located in Burt Hall, next to the Cathedral. Staff assistance will be required to enter Burt Hall.

Pick up and set down is available on Cathedral Avenue. Entry off St Georges Terrace between St George's Cathedral and COMO Treasury Building.


Parking is not available at the west end of the Cathedral.  Plenty of parking is usually available in the Wilson Kings Hotel car park, on the corner of Hay Street and Pier Street, or in the two multi-storey car parks in Pier Street, between Murray and Wellington Streets (5 minutes' walk away). The PCC underground car park behind Council House is often available, but users should be aware of closing times. Free street parking nearby is usually easily found at weekends but don't even try during the week!

Please note that due to ongoing building works to the Cathedral and Treasury Precinct, we regret that access to Cathedral Avenue may be restricted. 


Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break during the performance. Please check event page for the latecomer policy.

Mobile devices are to be turned off during the performance.

Photography and recording of any kind is prohibited during the performance.


St George's Cathedral is conveniently located on St Georges Terrace with buses frequently travelling along the Terrace in both directions. St George's Cathedral is a 15 minute walk from Elizabeth Quay bus port and train station.

The free Central Area Transport RED CAT route includes a stop a 'Council House' on St Georges Tce. The RED CAT operates every five minutes from 6am–7.20pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays), and every 10 minutes on the weekends between 8.30am and 6pm.
